Vision of the Seas is the namesake and last to be launched of Royal Caribbean’s Vision class cruise ships. This fleet of medium sized ships offer a blend of small-ship charm as well as being packed with big-ship attractions. It makes the Vision class ships ideal for a first time cruiser. The main dinging experience onboard Vision of the Seas is the Aquarius Dining Room. This contemporary style, two tier hall has some stunning vistas with an open, spacious atmosphere. Service in the Aquarius is first class, offering daily menus and chefs specials as well as “My Time Dining” allowing guests to enjoy their cruise at their own leisure, whilst still being able to enjoy the service and ambience of a traditional cruise dining experience.
Visit the Windjammer Café for more informal dining. The Windjammer is the ideal place to meet other guests for a bite to eat and the favourite place for passengers to create their own menu. Open all day this buffet style restaurant is very popular at peak times, do be prepared for some queuing, whilst the Windjammer may seem busy seating is rarely a problem.
Evenings and entertainment are fun and social aboard Vision of the Seas. Once onboard be sure to check out the listings for evening’s entertainment showing at the Masquerade Theatre, you’ll get to opportunity to see Broadway style shows, musicals, and audiences with special guests.
Meet with other guests in the friendly Some Enchanted Evening Lounge, sip a cocktail or enjoy a coffee whilst watching the world go by. The Schooner Bar and Showboat Lounge are two popular, more intimate places to share a drink with friends. A don’t forget the Viking Crown, signature lounge spaces on Royal Caribbean cruise ships, from the Viking Crown you’ll get a breath taking view from the ship.
For the active passenger set your heart racing with a view from the top of the outdoor climbing wall. An on board fitness gym and running track are available for your regular fitness routines, but make sure to take some time to relax in the swimming pool, one of the many whirlpools, or unwind in the Vitality at Sea Spa.
