The main dining experience to be had on board Splendour of the Seas, serving daily menus and chef speciality dishes is the King & I Dining Room. This large two tier, opulent venue with scenic views offers My Time Dining, either at early evening 6.15pm or late evening 8.30pm. The Windjammer Café is the main focal point for informal dining, open all day, feel free to dine whenever you wish at this buffet style restaurant, offering an enormous variety of meals and snacks ideal for family guests. The Windjammer does get busy at peak times of the day, so do allow yourself extra time to queue and be seated.
Recently added during a 2011 refit the signature restaurant Chops Grille (deck 11) makes a welcome addition to Splendour of the Seas, an intimate venue offering a large variety of juicy steaks, fresh
seafood, hearty side dishes and delicious desserts. Chops Grille is worth booking your reservation early to avoid disappointment.
Izumi is a Japanese themed restaurant also introduced to deck 11 during the 2011 refit. With stunning views from the ship you can choose from popular sushi rolls, sashimi, Hot Rock (Ishiyaki) Plates, sukiyaki and more.
The pinnacle of evening entertainment aboard Splendour of the Seas are the many Broadway style shows and audiences to be seen at the 42nd street Theatre. You may wish to try your luck at Casino Royale featuring electronic slot machines, video poker, blackjack, craps, roulette and Caribbean stud poker. Or, relax in one of the many lounge spaces, the chic R-Bar serves many hand-crafted cocktails, champagne and wine, it’s the ideal place to meet up with fellow guests.
For active guests there is an out door climbing wall, with a breath taking view over the ship if you are able to reach the top. A jogging track on deck 10 allows passengers to jog the entire circumference of the deck. If jogging is not your style, visit Vitality at Sea fitness and Spa where you’ll find modern exercise equipment, sauna and massage rooms, plus a beauty salon with floor-to-ceiling windows.
