When launched Oasis of the Seas was the world’s largest cruise ship, a title she held for two years until she was beaten in length by just 50mm (about the length of a mouse!) by her sister-ship Allure of the Seas. The two sister-ships are near identical having been built from the same specifications; it just happened that during production of Allure of the Seas her tempered-metals slightly stretched giving her the extra length. The two Oasis class sister-ships rule the waves with their appearance, size and modern day cruising amenities.
