Enchantment of the Seas is the fifth of six ships in Royal Caribbean’s Vision Class fleet. She has a sleek exterior with a modern day cruise appeal. Spread over the 11 decks you’ll find a mixture of active and relaxing facilities and services making Enchantment of the Seas the ideal ship for first time, family and young cruise passengers.
In 2005, Enchantment of the Seas received a huge overhaul making her even more, enchanting. Returning to service with 151 more staterooms, expanded pool areas, extensive interior refits, artworks and even more packed with things to keep passengers entertained, she is a popular ship with which to visit the Bahamas and Caribbean.
As with all Royal Caribbean cruise ships, the opportunity to relax and indulge yourself whilst on board is plentiful and an experience you should enjoy whilst not taking for granted. There are many fine dining and informal lounges and restaurants available to all passengers.
Chops Grille, one of Royal Caribbean’s signature restaurants is a luxury dining experience, tuck into dishes such as filet mignon and mesquite-grilled salmon, with a wide selection of dishes available you’re sure to be left wanting more. Do book your reservation early to avoid disappointment.
If you have a sweet tooth or you’re an ice-cream lover, or both, you’ll fall in love with Ben & Jerry’s ice cream parlour. Enjoy your favourite Ben & Jerry’s flavours on board Enchantment of the Seas whilst watching the world go by. It’s a great place to take the kids and treat yourself to a cheeky cone or two.
For a casual, anytime eating head to the Windjammer Cafe. This informal dining experience appears on all Royal Caribbean ships, it’s the favourite place for passengers to create their own menu. Open all day this buffet style restaurant can get busy at peak times of the day, this does make it a great place to meet fellow cruise passengers and socialise.
Another social hub on board Enchantment of the Seas is the Latte-Tudes cafe and bar. Serving some of Seattle’s finest coffees, with a modern selection available, you can enjoy meeting up with friends over a cup of your favourite Joe.
The main formal dining experience on board Enchantment of the sea is in the My Fair Lady restaurant. This is a two tier decadent space has a beautiful statue of Audrey Hepburn located at the foot of the staircase. The service in My fair Lady is first class, the menus change each day with chef speciality dishes and specialist dietary dishes also available.
For evening entertainment visit the lavish, Orpheum Theatre, with Broadway style musicals, comedy nights, guest appearances and speeches. Do take some time to check out the show listings once on board Enchantment of the Seas.
Meet up with friends in one of the many themed lounge spaces. Good places to start your evening are the Spotlight Lounge or the Viking Crown Lounge. You may then wish to head to “Vegas” and roll the dice at Casino Royal.
For the active passenger you can let loose your inner-child bouncing on the bungee trampolines. Or set your heart racing with a view from the top of the climbing wall. An on board fitness gym and running track are available for your regular fitness routines, but make sure to take some time to relax in one of the many whirlpools, or unwind in the Spa. There is the opportunity to swim, with the large pool spaces and an interactive water feature, the pool areas are often occupied with children yet it doesn’t mean you can’t join in the fun!
